On January 23rd, 2025, High Commissioner Joseph Sokoine held a briefing session for a group of 25 travel and tour agents in Montreal as part of the preparation for the Quebec agents' familiarization trip to Tanzania from March 12th to 19th, 2025, which will be sponsored by the Turkish Airline Office in Montreal, Canada.

The presentation generated excitement among participants who are looking forward to the FAM trip and experience the diverse attractions that Tanzania offers. Similarly, the Turkish Airline Office in Montreal extended to travel agents' promotional offer of 10 per cent and 20 per cent discount for economy and business class tickets to groups visiting Tanzania.
