The system maintenance scheduled to take place from 31st January, 2026 at 06:00 PM  (EAT) until 01 February 2026 at 10:00 a.m. (EAT)

The High Commission on behalf of The Tanzania Immigration Services Department wishes to inform the public, visitors and stakeholders that it is undertaking improvements to the Online Visa Application System in order to enhance efficiency in the provision of visa services for foreign visitors intending to travel to the country for various purposes. The system maintenance is scheduled to take place from 31st January, 2026 at 06:00 PM until 01 February 2026 at 10:00 a.m. During this period, foreign visitors will be able to obtain visa upon arrival while those with valid visa will be allowed to enter the country (without affecting the Immigration Act, Cap.54 and Visa Regulations of 2016).
