The first quarter of 2023 saw the High Commission promoting Tanzania Tourists attractions in the Canadian Outdoor Adventure Shows in two major cities of Canada – Toronto and Vancouver. 

These are among the most prominent tourism shows in Canada. In addition, the outdoor Adventure shows have been effective platforms to reach a more comprehensive section of Canadians interested in visiting Tanzania for tourism/leisure and business activities.

The 2023 Toronto outdoor shows received 287 exhibitors with 21,200 attendees, while the Vancouver’s had 186 exhibitors with 16,100 attendees.

The visitors to the Tanzania booth in the show get opportunities to receive brochures with Tanzania Tourism Sector information, word of mouth, and presentations from the High Commission about Travel and Tourism in Tanzania and watch and share the Royal Tour Film and beautiful Tanzania destinations videos from the Tanzania Tourist Board.
