The High Commission successfully participated in an annual exhibition meticulously organized for the International Tourism and Travel Industry in Canada and beyond held on November 1st—3rd, 2024, at Montréal Convention Centre – Palais des Congress.
This International Tourism and Travel Show is a renowned platform that brings together industry stakeholders to learn and explore new destinations for travelers' enthusiasts in Quebec and across Canada.
Over the years, the High Commission has been working with Zara Tanzania Adventures to showcase and promote Tanzanian tourist attractions in Montreal, Canada's second-largest city. These attractions are known for their unparalleled blend of wildlife, the beaches of Zanzibar Island, historical sites, culture, and much more.
The High Commission was also pleased to have Kenzan Wildlife Safaris and AirlinePros Canada representative of Tanzanian local airline Precision Airways to promote the country.
The Tanzania team at the show was wholeheartedly dedicated to engaging the audience through various mediums, including word of mouth, brochures, flyers, banners, and country videos. The screening of Tanzania: The Royal Tour Film, a captivating portrayal of the country's beauty and culture, further demonstrated the unwavering commitment to promoting Tanzania's beauty in Canada.
In addition to one-on-one meetings with individuals and companies interested in exploring Africa's Leading Destination for 2024, as awarded by the 31st Annual World Travel Awards, some of the Canadian tour operators and travel agents had an opportunity to attend insightful presentations on Tanzania Travel and Tourism.
